THE BEST OF DAVID BROZA - A Double Album!
Broza's new album is a journey that arouses emotions tracing the warm Spanish heart present in all of his greatest hits, from Nueba to Madrid, and New-York to Tel-Aviv; a journey of growth and depth, love and optimism, from a soulful artist of our own, whose years only enhance his creations. After 26 years of musical creation in Israel and around the world, David Broza collaborates once again with NMC, the company with whom he started his musical career. This collaboration has lead to a double-disc collection album, with the top 32 Broza hits called "The Best of David Broza". The album includes a collection of his best work from over the years: "Yihye Tov" (Things Will Get Better), "Shir Ahava Bedui" (Bedouin Love Song), "Haisha Sheiti" (The Woman By My Side, "Sigaliot" (Violets), "Brakim Ureamim" (Lightning and Thunder),"Haifa", "Ha'haim Hem Homer Tov" (Life is Good Stuff), "Daniela", "Mitahat Lashamaym" (Under the Sky), "Bikur Moledet" (Home Coming), "Stav Mesukan" (Dangerous Autumn) as well as many great others. Also included are 3 songs never before released on a Broza album: "Al Tishali Im Ani Ohev" (Don't Ask Me If I Love) from the motion picture of the movie, "Yalduteh Be'Menton" (Your Childhood in Menton) from the album "Poets in New York" - an honorable album for Federico Garcia Lorca, and a special version of the song "Yihye Tov" (Things Will Get Better), with the London Philharmonic. The CD booklet includes the lyrics to all songs, the story behind them, and a special prologue written by Yehonatan Geffen, Broza's song partner from his first days as a musician through today. Launching the show that carries the same name in Tzavta Tel-Aviv is only but natural. Here, with an acoustic guitar, a personal saying, and an intimate atmosphere, Broza began his stage career in 1977; to this same place he now returns with a novel production. In this new show, Broza brings with him that same personal and intimate atmosphere that is so deeply touching and captivating, making so many of his songs unforgettable.
